Raw Meat

Over the weekend, I had a yard sale with my sister. It was more for her benefit than mine, as I was only looking to get rid of things that perhaps should have been tossed out or donated long ago, but it was indeed helpful for me, and was nice to spend some time with her.

The strange thing about the weekend was not that I got a light sunburn, but rather that I seemed to get some kind of reaction to the sun. Shortly after noon, I started feeling odd, almost dizzy and would get chills. I went inside to where the air conditioning was, and my heart started racing. I would sit awhile and everything would calm down, but if I went out in the sun again the process started again. I spaced my time out side further and further, and wound up fine, although it looked like I wound up getting hives where the sunburn was. On top of that I got a 'heat rash' in many places where there was no sunburn. Ugh.

Well I was ready to blame all this on how I felt tonight, I started just not feeling 'right' and then had a few of those chills, and then felt warm, and then started quivering. Wow. Next thing you know I'm throwing up and throwing up. Then I suddenly feel okay. Hrm, it finally dawned on me, lunch was a thick roast beef grinder with lots of red meat. I bet that is what did me in. Vegetarians-one, carnivores-zero.

Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall

Decided to run my posts as a mirror on both Blogger AND Live Journal for a bit. I figure that may be the best way to compare them. I really think that I do like poerating blogger better, but I like LJ's community type of set up, meaning I like being able to look up profiles and interests, etc. More on this later.

I really want to whine about work. A poor stituations became bad, and now bad situations have become monsterous. I mean, Godzilla and Rodan both worship me now, if you know what I mean.

Hopefully the weekend will bring me a little personal satisfaction. Current game plan: Springfield, Ho! A large gem and mineral show will be going on there and then I will follow it up by connecting with a few friends. Yay!

Blogger Revisited

I don't really yet have my reason for why I want to post web logs, but I do see two of the major powers that be seems to be blogger (http://www.blogger.com) and live journal (http://www.livejournal.com) I am right now in the process of comparing the two.

Blogger seems a tad easier to operate from the user standpoint, while live journal seems more community oriented, as you can search profiles, but I understand that this feature is coming soon in blooger. Decisions, decisions!

Well, I'm in no hurry so will play around with them both. I could even mirror them, we'll see.
